T-P-1 | Students conduct a research project on the preparation of novel carrier catalysts for ammonia synthesis. The aim of the project is to get acquainted with literature on catalytic synthesis of ammonia, especially methods of preparation and characterization of catalysts. The project includes independent preparation of research concepts. Students will be responsible for selection of materials for preparation of a catalyst with active phase in the form of cobalt and molybdenum nitrides. Students will be required to select appropriate preparation methods and plan appropriate experiments. In addition, they will become familiar with the most relevant research methods for characterizing such properties of catalytic materials as chemical composition, phase composition, structural properties, surface development, catalyst surface composition, and catalytic activity. They will perform preliminary characterization of these properties for a series of catalysts prepared by them earlier. They will work out results of their measurements, subject them to careful analysis and present generalizing conclusions. They will present the results of their work in the form of a written report. | 105 |
