T-W-1 | The purpose of the course is to teach students in the range of: investigation processes concerning suburban zone, investigation of problems concerning selected rural settlements in the aspect of conditions of spatial-functional system . The content of the lectures is related to the specificity of rural settlement systems, with particular emphasis on the processes taking place in the suburban area in the exogenous interactions with regard to individual types of settlement network units . Thematic blocks of lectures: Classification of rural settlements. Typologies of rural settlement Characteristics of rural areas of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Transformations of the rural settlement structure. Basic services for the economy and rural population. Suburbanization in the aspect of rural development. Shaping high-quality spatial development of suburban villages. Quality of spatial management of rural areas Local identity in the aspect of cultural landscape. Coordination of spatial development in areas adjacent to major cities - national and European experience.
