T-P-1The seminar consists of the following phases: presentation of a paper (with the help of PowerPoint or OpenOffice programs) shorter for diplomas, one-person and longer for two-person diplomas, questions of participants and answers of a clerk to recorded questions, views and opinions of participants, exchange of arguments and counterarguments, summary of discussions in including broadening and deepening knowledge in the field of urban planning and architecture. The presentation should include: discussion of the method of selection and analysis of source materials, literature and examples of domestic and foreign solutions, determination of the diagnosis of the area covered by the study, presentation of applications from the abovementioned analysis and inspiration (domestic and foreign) to formulate the design concept, discussion of the design concept and detailed solutions, presentation of a typical A1 grid (horizontal or vertical layout, main inscription, sub-titles, numbering of boards, legend) and a list of contents of the project description with a bibliography.15

S-1Ocena formująca: the student has to demonstrate at the seminar a) the ability to independently solve design tasks in the field of architecture, urban planning and spatial planning with a significant degree of complexity; and b) the ability to justify the solution adopted in the discussion (thanks to the exchange of arguments and counterarguments). The following are assessed: a) preparation, in consultation with the supervisor, of the schedule for the performance of individual elements of the diploma thesis, b) presentation and defense of the already completed elements of the diploma thesis, c) active participation of the graduate in all phases of the didactic discussion, and d) presence at seminars.
