T-W-1Agricultural biomass production is primarily intended for crop technologies of plant species that are grown in agriculture and are not used for food production but can be grown as renewable raw materials for industry or as an energy source, e.g. in the form of biogas (Sudangras, Sorghum, sugar millet, mallow, cup plant), heat (fast-growing tree species: willow, poplar) or heat & electric energy (Jerusalem artichoke, miscanthus, sida), but also in the form of bioethanol and biodiesel (rye, triticale, rapeseed). In addition to cultivation technologies, other sources of biomass are also mentioned, which are produced as by-products or waste products in crop production (for example, straw). It is reported on the economic importance, botany (short characteristics), site conditions (soil and climatic conditions) and selected cultivation methods20
